The Photon and Emergence

Consciousness Emerges From Light

Interesting thoughts being expounded by Arthur Young

As a materialist, could you say that such a thing could exist..an action traveling in a space between.....the photon shot.....you visualize the spirit of something in comparison "to the light" and it's interaction?

You would have to say then that spirit already exists and that the emergence of spirit into manifestation of reality is an photon interaction that is defined on the screen? So this is interesting thought process to me and Arthur Young places this in mind about what always exists?

What can be gained then from a mathematical world in terms of Plato's realization or Jung's interrelation of the universal mind's ability to gather things from it,  to form any thought. To see the idea as a form of that emergence.

Magical Thinking no matter what you gussy it up with.

Okay.

Gussy what up with?

Accusing Campbell of 'gussying up' is a laughable stretch.

First, do you have access to the process, itself, that Young postulates ?

I went to andrewyoung.com to research the original work, The Reflexive Universe, in order to copy original statements and only found as excerpt, which did not offer an explanation of process.

Arthur Young

I just ask that you be practical at this point in that you provide the benefit of what is offered by Campbell's framework of presentation.

I offer no more then the concepts shared by Arthur Young through the videos for examination. I do say they are interesting concepts.

That Campbell himself provide for "the experience" from what came from the development of the methods to the research that will provide for others to benefit from and to be able to explore.

To be able to meet proponents of that exploration that have already been contacted. Why hold back?

Mechanical Induction-

Magnetic stimulation of the brain, as with the God helmet developed by Michael Persinger.[30

Dr. Persinger's work is primarily published in peer-reviewed
academic journals devoted to neuroscience and cognitive studies. Persinger does not reject the validity of spiritual
and psychic experiences. His many papers and experiments offer specific mechanisms for how the brain can
create them subjectively. Proof that God is in the brain means that the power of prayer lies in the human mind.
Meditation works by making changes in the brain. The kingdom of heaven lies within the complexities of the brain,
the most complex object known to science. This field of inquiry has been called neurotheology by several authors
and journalists, though it's members usually have other names for themselves.

By doing my own research on Persinger, it was of interest that reproduction of experiences be shown to happen with some regularity so as to show that the methods used provided that reproduction.

It isn't a matter of research to allow others to benefit and allow others to explore. It's a matter of personal development status, what Tom refers to as 'Quality of Consciousness':

"Your Quality of Consciousness (QoC) is the degree to which you, as an IUOC, have evolved at the being level. A high quality of consciousness equates to a high capacity to love, a low entropy
consciousness, a high quality of being, and a high spiritual quality.
Whereas a low quality of consciousness equates to a low capacity to
love, a high entropy consciousness, a low quality of being, and a low
spiritual quality. All of these terms are applicable, depending on the
context.
Your QoC constrains your Intent by directly affecting the size of your Decision Space."

This is another of Tom's concepts that are problematic for a materialist mindset to reconcile.

RBM you do not seem to understand that the entry here provided by you from the Big Toe is explained by Arthur Young in very short clips. With all you wrote you should have been able to see it, yet you didn't.

This does not just apply to this entry. The INtj discussions shows what many lack, yet comment on.

So yes it is about the framework with which you focus. You want to be flexible yes? You want to be consistent across and concordance with scientists?

It didn't go awry....it was purposeful.

As I was going on previous knowledge of Arthur's position and did not watch the clips, I'll have to take your assertions at face value.

This was the original cause for me looking for original source material which would enable a more detailed comparison.

If Arthur has done as you say, Kudo's to Arthur.

You see I understand that Campbell has experienced something outside of normal consciousness even though he's spent his time lecturing and sharing his thoughts. The point is why does he not just come out and say it instead of gussying up what his experience is about?

So he gives you this framework....has it brought you any closer to the experiences that he journeyed through as if he was Monroe too?

You ask for honesty right.....it goes both ways.

Best,
